Guillemot Corporation supports the Telethon in Carentoir
As part of the 2025 Telethon, Guillemot Corporation is committed to offering a charitable activity in partnership with the local Telethon branch in Carentoir: a car racing simulation competition, open to the public from age 14 with parental consent.
The event will take place on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the multipurpose hall in Carentoir.
Participants will be invited to take a seat in a racing simulator and try to achieve the best time on a virtual track. Each participation will result in a donation fully allocated to the Telethon, supporting research on neuromuscular diseases: €1 for one lap and €4 for five laps. The competition rules will be available upon request on-site.
As a bonus, a T248 will be awarded to each of the three participants with the best times. And that’s not all: two T128 units will be given away in a random draw among all participants.
This initiative is part of Guillemot Corporation’s corporate social responsibility approach and allows the company to engage in a local effort tied to a national charitable event. Through this action, Guillemot Corporation aims to contribute to the vitality of local associations.
Last year, the Carentoir Telethon raised €13,000 and hopes this year to once again rally the public to reach or even exceed that amount. Several activities will be organized in parallel to support the fundraising: a basketball tournament will take place on Friday, November 28, starting at 7 p.m. at the Carentoir sports hall, allowing the public to enjoy both events. On Saturday, December 6, other activities will keep the momentum going, including a hike in Quelneuc followed by light refreshments, as well as a pot-au-feu dinner in the evening.
